Wikimotive’s social media services have been wildly successful for car dealerships across the country. Our social media leaders, Erin and Amanda Ryan, are two of the most experienced social media marketers, and the latest edition to our social media team fits right in with them.
We’re happy to announce Nick Cobb as Wikimotive’s new Social Media Representative. With six years of social media experience under his belt, Nick was amongst the first group of professionals to help businesses utilize social media for promotion and advertising.
As a top user on former social news site Digg.com, Nick became an expert on content and what it takes to manufacture virality. He helped companies such as Village Voice drive millions of pageviews and increase user engagement to grow regular readership.
Remaining a top user on StumbleUpon and a successful user on Reddit, Nick is always sharpening his promotion skills to stay on top of the ever-changing social media landscape. More recently, however, he’s worked with corporate clients, such as John Deere and Rocawear, as part of marketing firms NowSourcing and RYP Marketing.
An enthusiastic University of Alabama football fan, Nick’s hobbies include hiking, cooking, and photography. And fitting right in with the automotive industry, Nick is a car enthusiast who originally planned to work in automotive design as an engineer before discovering his passion for writing and marketing. His first car was a Nissan 300zx, and frankly that’s cooler than most.
With social media continuing to become more and more important for businesses–especially local businesses–Nick’s expertise will be put to good use, helping Wikimotive’s growing list of clients reach more and more customers.
