How is your business page set up on Facebook? If you are like a lot of other businesses out there, you probably set up your page initially and haven’t paid much attention to the imagery you used since then. It’s kind of like the paintings in your own house, right? You see them all the time, day in and day out, and after awhile you don’t really notice them until a guest brings them to your attention. Well, consider me a guest in your digital home, and consider your Facebook profile and banner images your wall art, because I’m bringing them to your attention now.
Are they outdated? Are they poorly sized? Are they stretched and distorted even the slightest bit? If so, you need to fix them right away. You may be used to your page and its quirks, but any visitors to your (very active and successful, I’m sure!) Facebook page won’t be used to the flaws and they’ll be turned off by your apparent inattention to detail.
Luckily, the folks at Search Engine Watch have released a very detailed (down right exhaustive, actually) piece on how to get the perfect sized photos on your Facebook page. Check out the article here and let me know what you think!
